My sister, Becky, signed the adoption papers and is now Mommy to baby Daniel. He is a sweety! He has HLHS which basically means his heart only has 2 valves instead of 4 to work with. Makes life more difficult. He has already had one surgery and will need 2 more soon. We are amazed at how God worked it all out - beyond what any of us could imagine! And happy for this little blessing for Becky. We know she will be a great mom not to mention it is handy that she works with these little guys all the time and so knows just how to care for him. Welcome to the family, Daniel Zachary! :)By the way, Daniel's b-day is March 4 - just 3 days before Becky's. :)
And on April 20 Jeff's brother, Drew and his wife, Jessica welcomed their son into the world. Yay! Another nephew! His name is Lucas Asher and he is a cutie, too. Babies are the neatest things! We wish we were closer to them and could go visit and help but must satisfy ourselves with all the fun pictures Drew takes. Thanks Drew! The kids think it is great to have more cousins and the boys think it is great that they still outnumber the girls! :)
