Swim Party

Last Saturday found us at the home of some good friends of ours for a swim party. The Jones' host a swim party every year for the AWANA Sparkies that they are the leaders for at church. Abby has been in their class for the past two years now. She is really going to miss them next year as she will move up to the next age level.
Anyway, each year the Jones' host this swim party and all the kids come and play - plus a bunch of parents and siblings. My kids look forward to this event each year. Mr. Jones put a slide in as part of the pool and that is a big hit with the kids - of course!
I wish I had some pictures to post here but I forgot my camera and so you'll just have to use your imaginations! :)
Anna sat in the "hot tub" part of the pool which was just right and warm for her. Plus there are steps just right so she played and had lots of fun and I was able to help with the other four without worrying too much about her.
Abby thinks she is invinsible and wanted to jump off the diving board. I swam out just in case and sure enough, once she hit that deep water she panicked! We made it all right but she decided not to do that again without a float tube! :)
David floated around in his float tube and played in the little tub with Anna. The big boys had fun playing with the other kids and on the slide. Josh enjoyed the diving board this year.
Then we had hot dogs/hamburgers, chips and cookies, ect..
We had a very nice evening. Pools are so much fun! :)

Psalm 127:3-5

"Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They shall not be ashamed, When they speak with their enemies in the gate."
