Fun Gifts from Aunties and Uncles

Well, fun for most of us anyways. heehee Jeff's aunt and uncle always send something for the kids. This year Josh and Michael got cute little long legged stuffed animals. Not bad...until they figured out that they are sling shots and make squauking noises as you stretch them! Ok - it is just not nice for the older generation to torture dads and moms this way! :) The boys love it. :)

My sister, Becky, got the kids some fun mugs from her trip to New York - at the M&M World store. I didn't know there was such a store! I'll have to go see it! Oh, ya, and New York, too! LOL The mugs are tall with M&Ms all over and the outside has like rings that can be turned - so you can mix up the M&M pictures on the outside of the mug. The kids are enjoying their own fun mugs. Grandpa Niles also got them mugs - with a picture of themself on their mug! No trouble telling whose is whose now!

One of my cousins - whom I have only met once when I was very young - always sends a gift for the kids, too - even though she has never met them. She is such a generous person. Anyway, this year David got a big floor puzzle that is also a seek and find game once you get it together! He loves floor puzzles.

All this - not to brag about what they got but to say thank you to those who sent them gifts and to let you know that they are enjoying all the fun things and we are blessed to have family that loves us all so much. :)

Psalm 127:3-5

"Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They shall not be ashamed, When they speak with their enemies in the gate."
