The Symphony

Once in awhile DTS (Jeff's school) gets tickets to the Dallas Symphony and gives them to the students. Well, Jeff stopped in to check his mailbox at the school and found out they had tickets. Not only that but there were a LOT left as it is winter session and not many students on campus right now. So, Jeff was able to get 7 tickets to the Dallas Symphony! We all went last night and had a great time. Then Jeff treated us to dessert at Nick&Sam's! Wow! What a fun evening.
The kids got all spiffed up and were so good. Everyone was amazed that we could take 5 kids to the Symphony and a fancy restaurant like Nick&Sam's - and not be crazy! Well, ok - crazy in the uncontrolled rowdy type of crazy. :)
One lady came up to me at the Symphony and asked, "Are all of these children yours?" Me - "Yes" Lady - "They are so well behaved! You could take them out to beer and pizza!" OK...that's funny! :)

Psalm 127:3-5

"Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They shall not be ashamed, When they speak with their enemies in the gate."
