We have been fishing three times now - once the kids went with grandpa and grandma after grandpa got off work for a few hours! Michael did catch one - Joshua is still waiting and hoping! We went out once with dad's boat and the four oldest kids were able to take a turn in it. That was an experience! They had fun - except David, who after having to actually sit still for that long fell asleep on my lap!
I burned to a crisp both times - finally figuring out that there is something wrong with my sunscreen and instead of screening it seems to fry me worse. Must have mixed the fluid for sunscreen with the frying oil! Anyway, I had a few places with second degree burns for awhile but seem to be over the worst of it now! I am so thankful that the kids didn't burn like that!
We had a beautiful cloudy, cool day the second time we went out and so most of the day was great in spite of my burns!
