Sounds of Christmas

Last weekend, between the four oldest kids, we had four choir spots to go see! Whew! That was a busy weekend. But fun - I love hearing the kids sing - practicing their songs around the house and it was fun to get to watch them be in the choirs at church. I am so grateful for their choir teachers who are teaching the kids to use their voices to praise and worship the Lord.
Josh and Michael were a part of the Christmas Concert that our church did on Saturday and Sunday nights. Abby and David sang their songs in both services on Sunday morning. Abby and Michael never smiled - too much concentration, I guess! Davey waved to me every once in awhile and Josh was good and remembered to smile. :) What fun!

Psalm 127:3-5

"Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They shall not be ashamed, When they speak with their enemies in the gate."
