Today was supposed to get up to 75 degrees and so we had an outing to the park planned. Well, it was VERY cloudy, VERY windy and cool out today. I am quite sure it never reached 70 let alone anything over that. :) Today was the first day off Jeff has taken for awhile - in that, he didn't work on homework very much or go in to work this evening. So, instead of the park Jeff took all of us to see the new Veggie Tale movie. We don't go to the theater as a family very often as it gets way too pricey - we usually just wait for the movie to come out on dvd. But, this was one of those rare times and the kids had a blast. The new veggie movie was pretty good and funny. The big boys think it is the best yet. Anna kept asking - during the movie, in a not-so-quiet voice - "What's his name? What's her name? Is that the bad pirate?" She says things in such a cute way! So, we had a very fun family day in spite of the weather.
Tomorrow we start back to school - nobody is very excited about it at this point so I hope it isn't too hard to get going.
Can't believe January is about gone!
John 3:16-18
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." John 3:16-18

Psalm 127:3-5
"Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They shall not be ashamed, When they speak with their enemies in the gate."
