Six Flags

Jeff's parents got us passes to Six Flags this year. So, we went last Monday afternoon. While it was hotter than we had hoped for (ya, duh - TX in August) we all had fun just the same. Our passes are good for a few more visits too so we will go again when it cools off.
David is a total thrill seeker - he went on some of the bigger rides with the big boys, was freaked out but loved every minute of it! :)
Abby tried a small roller coaster and decided they were not for her. Anna cried on one of the rides and so she, David, Abby and I hung out in the "kiddie" side of the park while the big boys rode the big rides. Josh rode the Superman ride and loved it. Michael's favorite was the Batman ride. The little kids liked the carousel. Anna liked the life size Bugs Bunny.
All in all, it was nice to just have a fun family day that Jeff also got to be a part of. :)

Psalm 127:3-5

"Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They shall not be ashamed, When they speak with their enemies in the gate."
