So, my Anna has for months now been staunchly defending herself against the opinions of her older siblings. She is of the mind that she DOES NOT want to get married and wants to just "stay home with mommy and daddy". Much to Abby's horrified shock! Abby lives to become a wife and mommy herself someday and thinks there is something really wrong with Anna who does not want to. You really had to be here and see Abby's face for this part. Anyway, then Michael took it upon himself to try to explain to Anna how the normal process is for kids to grow up and move out and have their own families. Which, of course, just made Anna more upset. Thus, I had to intervene on Anna's behalf, explain to the older ones that she very likely will change her mind....someday and that until then they need to lay off - or risk making her stubbornly determined to stay! ha,ha,ha!
Then a couple days ago Anna tells me - she wants to be a Dr. when she gets big BUT she still doesn't want to get married and still wants to stay at home. HA!! I told her she can be a Dr. and still be at home - at least she is now willing to branch out a little bit - in a BIG way! :) So Anna. :)
Of course Jeff's take on this is that we can raise our children, send most off and enjoy grandchildren and then smooze off of the one that stays at home! OH! And while she's at it being a DR. she can pay the bills and provide free services to her parents. Best of both worlds, as Jeff puts it.
John 3:16-18
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." John 3:16-18

Psalm 127:3-5
"Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They shall not be ashamed, When they speak with their enemies in the gate."
