A Day at the Lake

Today we went to Weir&Johnson lakes up on the Mesa. It was a beautiful day out and the weather was just right. It is so peaceful up there. The kids played around - got muddy and wet - and overall had a great time. Glenn and Val are here for a couple more days before heading to Texas so they went also. The kids are enjoying being around them so much. I am grateful that they are willing to take the time to spend with the kids as it means so much to them all.
Yesterday, Grandpa and Grandma Niles came up for the afternoon. The kids had fun reading and playing with them, too. We will head down to Grand Junction to see them again later this week.

Psalm 127:3-5

"Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They shall not be ashamed, When they speak with their enemies in the gate."
