Well, as most of you know the kids and I were not able to make it home to Colorado for a visit this year. Just as I was beginning to get very homesick God sent family to us. :)
My sister and her family were here for about two weeks as they packed up their belongings and prepared for their move back to Colorado where my brother-in-law is attending seminary this fall. It was nice to see them and get to visit and, of course, play with my niece. Sophia is getting quite chatty! :) She is cute.
Then after they left our dear friend, Mark, came to the area. He drives the bus for the Jews For Jesus Liberated Wailing Wall group. They have been on the road for about 15 months now. We get to see Mark almost every time they come through Texas. This time Mark got to stay with us for a day. While he was here their bus was getting worked on. So, his day turned into two and a half days! Yippee! Not only that but Jeff had Monday off and was not scheduled this time for Tuesday night so he was able to enjoy some guy time with Mark as well as visiting together about the things Jeff is studying in school.
Mark is good for all of us. He loves our kids - and they love him, to death! - and is always such and encouragement to us.
So, the only downside to all this company is, of course, the goodbyes! Won't heaven be wonderful - no goodbyes, forever!
John 3:16-18
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." John 3:16-18

Psalm 127:3-5
"Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They shall not be ashamed, When they speak with their enemies in the gate."
