we got rain - and lots of it! It started raining last night just before the kids got out of AWANA. Then it picked up and through the rest of the night, every once in awhile, you would here a huge swoosh sound and another downpour would start. Then it would slow down to a regular rain and then another downpour. That's how it was most of the night. So, needless to say, the snow is gone - but now we have flood warnings around our area! Such changing weather! I am enjoying the big grey rain clouds that are floating around outside today. It is so peaceful-like out.
The kids started our science class today. We did mostly history last semester and so science this semester. My mom is teaching the class. Yep - you read right and I bet you are thinking, 'How?' since she is a day away! Well, she put the class all on tape and organized the lessons and pages from their books and all of that - so I really don't even have to do much - wow! The kids all enjoyed having their first class with grandma. Anna kept trying to talk to grandma so doesn't quite get it but that was cute, too.
Jeff is on spring break these next two weeks - spring break at a masters level is a crazy way to put it! 'Break' really doesn't work. :) He has missions week this weak and is required to be there so will be in Dallas just as much as usual - or more. His Greek class is a bit behind in where they are supposed to be - due to taking extra time to really get the material being covered - and so he has an assignment due on Thursday for that class and then a big test the day they get back from break - so lots of studying to do. He won't have to go into Dallas at all next week so hopefully, that in itself will be a nice change for him. I hope he gets a bit of rest in in spite of the work that needs to be done.
We hope you all are doing well out there! :)
John 3:16-18
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." John 3:16-18

Psalm 127:3-5
"Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They shall not be ashamed, When they speak with their enemies in the gate."
