Abby came home from Sunday school telling all about her little friend who got a hair cut. Abby has talked of cutting her hair before but never did becuase she thought it would make her look like a boy. Well, now she has a friend with short hair that still looks like a girl! WOW! So, she was thinking of maybe trying it, too. Well, Joshua had something to say about that!
"O, Abby! Don't do that. You don't want to do that. Besides, boys have short hair! I like your hair like it is."
That's big brother Josh for you. So sweet! He has always been so protective of her.
Ultimately, Abby decided not to cut her hair because she can't stand having any hair in her face at all! :) The thought of not being able to get it all back in a pony tail and maybe having it hang in her face pretty much drove her nuts just thinking about it! So, Josh is happy and Abby is relieved to not have found out the hard way how irritating it would have been to her!
John 3:16-18
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." John 3:16-18

Psalm 127:3-5
"Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They shall not be ashamed, When they speak with their enemies in the gate."
