Mountasia

Last night Becky came over to watch the kids so Jeff and I could go out. We had a nice evening. Jeff took me to the new resteraunt that he will be working at. It is called Brios and is very nice. The food was great, too. He says he will be glad to be working there because the floors are wood instead of cement and they have nice cushy runner rugs up and down all the aisles. Hopefully, those things will help his feet not hurt so much!

After dinner, we went to Mountasia and played miniature golf and some arcade games. Mountasia used to be a big busy place when we lived here before. It has not been kept up well in the meantime so that is too bad. But, we had fun anyways. Jeff played a Star Wars arcade game and was thrilled to get way beyond anything he remembers having done as a kid. He is now "Fleet Commander". Woo-Hoo!

A huge storm blew in - and out - while we were at Mountasia. We saw it coming and thought we would get drenched playing golf but we were able to finish the course and get inside just before it let loose. After the storm there was a huge rainbow that was full and double. Pretty neat!

Today we are taking Jeff to see the park that the kids and I found and enjoy so much. Hopefully, I will get some pictures while we are there.

Psalm 127:3-5

"Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They shall not be ashamed, When they speak with their enemies in the gate."
