Well, this week is Vacation Bible School at our church. The three older kids get to go - David must wait until he is kindergarten age.
Michael decided to buy one of the vbs t-shirts. I had already bought him a ball cap so told him he would have to pay for the other. He got his money all out and ready yesterday and then during the day sometime - I didn't even know about it - he decided to give all his money to the missionary they are spotlighting at VBS. I was so touched by his generous and sweet heart - that he was willing - all on his own - to give up the shirt he really wanted - in order to give more to the missionaries. What a neat thing! Just had to share that! It is good to see the Lord working in his heart.
John 3:16-18
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." John 3:16-18

Psalm 127:3-5
"Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They shall not be ashamed, When they speak with their enemies in the gate."
